March Workshop - Cruiser Quilts
Thirty three Creative Quilter members participated in the Cruiser Quilt Workshop on 3/28. Kit Squad handed out 23 kits to members and many of these tops were completed before the days end. Everyone had fun sewing together for this worthy cause.
February 2012 Workshop
The February workshop was Circle Play led by Candace West.
Several methods were taught. Adding strips into a background and inserting circles was made easy using Candace's tricks.

Welcome
Creative Quilters meet every second Wednesday of the month for a Business Meeting at 9:30 am in St. Ann's Episcopal Church, 9870 W. Fort Island Trail, Crystal River and every fourth Wednesday at 9:30 for a workshop for members. We put on a Quilt Show every two years, the next show will be our thirteenth show, held on March 15 and 16, 2013 "Lucky 13". Members make a special quilt to be raffled at the quilt show with the proceeds to go to Hospice. We make lap size quilts and donate them to the Sheriffs Department in April and October to be given to distressed children. Anyone interested in membership should call Addie Atkinson 746-3187.
